Description de produit
Steel Wire Mesh Reinforced HDPE Pipe For Mining Metallurgy Slurry And Corrosive Media Pipeline Systems
Steel Mesh Reinforced Polyethylene (SRTP) Composite Pipe is a heavy-duty composite pipeline system engineered for the relentless operating conditions of mining, mineral processing, and metallurgical operations. The fusion of a high-tensile steel wire mesh skeleton with thick, abrasion-resistant HDPE encapsulation creates a dual-protection pipeline that simultaneously withstands the internal wear of high-velocity mineral slurries and the external chemical aggression of acidic mine environments.
The pipe is produced through a specialized continuous co-extrusion process that integrally bonds a helically wound, uniformly perforated steel strip reinforcement mesh within inner and outer layers of high-density polyethylene. This seamless composite construction provides exceptional hoop strength for high-pressure slurry pumping, outstanding crush resistance for deep-burial and heavy-traffic mine site installations, and complete immunity to the sulfuric acid, dissolved metals, and electrolytic corrosion that rapidly destroy steel and concrete mining infrastructure.
Mining & Metallurgy Applications
- Mineral Slurry Transport Pipelines: High-pressure long-distance transport of copper, iron, zinc, gold, and nickel ore concentrates and tailings slurries with sustained abrasion resistance that significantly outlasts steel and rubber-lined alternatives.
- Acid Mine Drainage (AMD) Collection: Permanent corrosion immunity in low-pH, high-dissolved-metal mine water collection and conveyance systems where sulfuric acid concentrations rapidly perforate carbon steel and ductile iron pipes.
- Hydrometallurgical Process Piping: Leach solution distribution, pregnant liquor transfer, and raffinate return lines in heap leaching, solvent extraction, and electrowinning (SX-EW) copper and uranium recovery operations.
- Smelting & Refining Utility Systems: Cooling water circuits, slag granulation water supply, off-gas scrubber liquor piping, and process water distribution in non-ferrous metal smelting and refining complexes.
- Mine Dewatering & Water Management: High-capacity dewatering discharge pipelines, pit perimeter water control systems, and underground mine sump pump rising mains handling sediment-laden mine water.
- Tailings Dam & Waste Storage: Tailings distribution, decant water return, and underdrainage piping for tailings storage facilities with full resistance to the chemically aggressive seepage water environment.
- Coal Preparation & Handling: Dense medium separation circuit piping, coal slurry transport, wash plant process water, and coal fines recovery pipelines in coal mining and preparation operations.
- Mineral Processing Reagent Lines: Safe conveyance of flotation reagents, cyanide solutions, lime slurry, flocculants, and pH adjustment chemicals throughout concentration and mineral beneficiation circuits.
