製品の説明
Steel Strip Reinforced PE Pipe Polyethylene Perforated Pipe For Mining Slurry

Perforated Steel Strip Reinforced PE Pipe is a heavy-duty composite pipeline system engineered to withstand the punishing demands of mining slurry transport, mineral processing circuits, and mine dewatering operations. By combining an abrasion-resistant HDPE liner with a high-tensile perforated steel reinforcement core, this pipe delivers the structural toughness and wear life essential for the mining industry's most challenging fluid and solid-liquid mixture conveyance applications.

The pipe is manufactured through a proprietary continuous extrusion process where a uniformly perforated steel strip is spiral-formed into a cylindrical reinforcing cage and simultaneously encapsulated within inner and outer polyethylene layers. This produces a monolithic composite structure where the steel skeleton provides crush resistance and hoop strength for high-pressure and buried service, while the HDPE liner offers outstanding resistance to the abrasive wear, acidic mine water, and chemical reagents encountered throughout the mining process chain.

Mining Industry Applications

Beyond standard water supply duties, this reinforced composite pipe system addresses critical mining infrastructure challenges that conventional piping cannot economically resolve:

Tailings Transport Pipelines : Conveys high-density mineral tailings slurries from processing plants to tailings storage facilities with superior abrasion resistance that outlasts rubber-lined steel and HDPE alternatives in continuous slurry service.

Mine Dewatering Main Lines : Serves as the primary arterial pipeline network for open-pit and underground mine dewatering systems, handling large-volume groundwater and process water discharge under sustained pressure.

Process Water Distribution : Distributes raw water, reclaim water, and treated process water across extensive mine site infrastructure, including heap leach pads, flotation circuits, and dust suppression networks.

Acid Mine Drainage Collection : Provides permanent corrosion immunity in acidic mine water collection and conveyance systems, where the low-pH environment rapidly destroys carbon steel, ductile iron, and concrete piping.

Mineral Concentrate Pipeline Transport : Handles the hydraulic transport of mineral concentrates including copper, zinc, iron ore, and coal over medium to long distances with minimal pipeline wear and pressure drop degradation.

Product Advantages for Mining Service

  • Extreme Abrasion & Impact Resistance : The thick HDPE inner liner absorbs the kinetic energy of high-velocity solid particles in slurry flow while the steel skeleton provides crush resistance against external rockfall, vehicle crossing loads, and heavy equipment traffic on mining haul roads.

  • Acid Mine Water Immunity : The fully encapsulated steel reinforcement has zero contact with the transported medium, providing indefinite service life in acidic mine drainage and sulfide-rich process water that corrodes through standard steel pipe walls within months.

  • High-Pressure Slurry Capability : The combined steel-PE composite structure handles operating pressures up to 2.0 MPa, enabling long-distance slurry transport without intermediate booster stations that add capital cost and energy consumption to mining pipeline networks.

  • Terrain-Adaptive Rigidity : The steel skeleton provides sufficient structural stiffness for above-ground installation on uneven mine site terrain and across natural drainage crossings, eliminating the need for continuous concrete cradles and support piers required by flexible pure PE pipes.

  • Reduced Lifecycle Cost : With a design service life of 50 years and no requirement for internal relining, cathodic protection, or corrosion allowance monitoring, the total cost of ownership over a mine's operating life significantly undercuts steel, rubber-lined, and HDPE alternatives.
