Steel Belt Reinforced PE Spiral Corrugated Pipe is a double-wall spiral corrugated pipe integrated by winding polyethylene (PE) materials, designed for demanding highway and road infrastructure drainage applications. It utilizes high-density polyethylene (HDPE) as the base matrix, and a wave-shaped steel belt coated with adhesive resin as the primary supporting structure. The steel and plastic components are wound and composite-molded into a single, cohesive structural unit, providing the heavy-load capacity required for under-roadway culverts and cross-drainage systems.
- Large Diameter and High Strength: The integration of the U-shaped steel belt with PE material significantly enhances the ring stiffness. Compared to standard plastic winding pipes of the same weight, its structural strength is drastically improved, effectively solving heavy-load challenges. This structural advantage is particularly prominent in large-diameter applications. Our production diameter ranges from DN300mm to DN2600mm, with the ring stiffness consistently maintained above 12.5 kN/m². It is much lighter in weight yet delivers significantly stronger performance than conventional concrete/cement pipes and other conventional plastic pipes.
- Reliable Composite Performance: The bonding and integration of the multiple material layers are carried out while the plastic is in a fully molten state. This thermal fusion process ensures that the compound bonding strength is exceptionally reliable, preventing delamination over long-term operations.
- Corrosion Resistance and Long Service Life: The surface of the steel belt undergoes a specialized pre-treatment to enhance both the steel's intrinsic anti-corrosion capabilities and its adhesive interface with the plastic matrix, resulting in superior peel strength. The engineered pipeline guarantees a service life of over 50 years under standard operating environments.
